This service pack provides the

- Fixed problem with find (search) function in databases with sub-categories such as world coin or casino chip
- Enhanced value logic to resolve some missing value issues

- Screen customizer could not modify a field if no additional data items available

- Automatic values fail for currency if last database used was coin

This service pack provides the
following enhancements/corrections:
- Main screen no longer displays with part of top window bar too high
- V Ch CU and Sup CU added to grade with values for US Currency users
- Support added for values of Canadian coins for users who own Canadian Coin Database with Values
- Setting printer to landscape mode did not work in all cases
- A few Eisenhower proofs were not picking up values
- Merged casino chip enhancements from SP 11
It also includes the following
corrections from Service Packs 1-9
- Resizing Collector's Assistant
window very small no longer causes a program exit
- 2D reports now use user selected
fonts when printed
- When coins are deleted from a
collection, the listing is left in the same position as before the delete
operation
- When items are pasted into a
collection, the listing grid automatically scrolls to the position of the
last entry
- When values are updated, the
value source and date are also updated
- When customizing data entry
screens, moving one picture would sometimes cause another to disappear
- You can no longer enter
collection names that are blank.
- Find function initially comes up
in simpler mode for clarity
- Restores the Find function,
inadvertently hidden in the initial SP10.
- A new function has been added
allowing manually entered or imported coins to be matched with coins in the
standard database in many circustances.
- 2D reports have been enhanced
with support for 5 by 4 flip inserts offered by coin supply companies
- Value matching now is less
sensitive to extra spaces in grade field

circumstances add a record to the end of a collection file
- Improved error handling allows

Apply Value Updates to All Collections
- Data conversion facility
fails to transfer values, and a few other fields for some
collectibles. If you have already converted your data, prior to
reconverting delete all collection files created by the prior
conversion. These files have the extension .clu and are located in your
user data directory (default is c:\CollectAsst\MyData\).
- Printable manual for the
Collector's Assistant is installed by this service pack - the
original CD installed the printable version for the Home Assistant
Plus.
- Multi-user / password
protection related defects
This service pack also includes the
following enhancements from service packs 1 to 3:
- When copying coins from the
database you may also add additional information into information fields on
the 3 tabbed folders which is common to the coins being added such as grade,
date of purchase, etc.
- Import function will now import
into the Note field
Home Assistant Plus - Service Pack 3
(Version 5.1.3 Released April 21, 2005)
This service pack is for
owners of the Home Assistant Plus (V5.0.0 or higher)
This service pack contains all defect corrections made since the original release of the Home Assistant Plus along with a few usability enhancements.

The following problems have been corrected in Service Pack 14:
- Enhancements made to support new Euro Coin Database
- In some instances after viewing
world coins, certain functions would produce error messages and the create
collection function would not work until the Collector's Assistant had been
exited and re-entered.
Service Packs 1-13 are incorporated into Service Pack 14 and included the following defect corrections and enhancements
- Identical names may be used for
sets and collections and they will be properly uniquely identified.
- User data directory reset
incorrectly if user preferences were modified and then data was edited
before exiting the Collector's Assistant.
- Automatic import of data from
earlier versions failed if storage.mst or parties.mst was missing from the
older version.
- Main Sort would not generate
subtotals when selected
- Improved error handling in the
event of very high numbers
- Picture Lists - identified as
feature that will soon be deleted and replaced with enhanced functionality.
- Data import facility has been
enhanced to recognize coins that are in the standard database and
automatically supply supplemental information fields
- Screen color changes for Buy/Sell
folder for better coordination with Windows XP.
- Resolved inconsistencies of
picture placement on label formats (printed labels)
- Enhanced error handling for
cleaner exit on unexpected error conditions
- Screen colors have been updated
to be consistent with new Windows XP default color or classic Windows colors
(this change is only of value to Windows XP installations).
- Coin value matching problem
created by Service Pack 8 when grade owned contain a "-"
- Currency value matching ignores
blanks in grade owned field
- Memory requirements for custom
screen design reduced

- Currency grade list updated to
synchronize with grades provided on electronic Greensheet values.
- Printed report headers off by 1
character in some instances.
- Multiple item delete may delete
wrong items depending on selected sorting.
- "Add User Sets" button
was incorrectly enabled, it is now only enabled while in "My
Collections".
- Values were being set to
"0" in some instances for collectibles other than coins and
currency.
- Conversion of data from prior
versions not working from menu choice in all cases.
- Conversion of data from prior
versions did not include storage information.
- Opening the User Preferences
folder disabled automatic values.
- Conversion of old values files
did not work in all cases.
- Tutorial screens contained white
text which caused them to be unreadable on some systems dependent on user
video settings.
- Tabbed folder tabs had some font
size inconsistencies.
- Move command present on menus has
been removed (it was replaced by a more general Cut/Paste facility).
- On choice list folders,
denomination fields were mislabeled.
- Choice lists lost in some cases
when closing the selector window brought up by action bar choice
"Display Format"
- Special report formats for
storage/insurance did not work in all cases.
- Coin type choice list updated for new coin types
- Missing database files for Mint Sets, Platinum Bullion
& BU Rolls
- Missing 1986S in Prestige Sets
- Print labels with two pictures resulted in error if one of
picture files was missing.
- Unit value is retained when entered even if quantity is
zero.
Enhancements
- Login screen now only appears if
multi-user mode is selected or password protection is enabled
- History function has been
improved
- Area allocated to controls area
can be expanded by vertical splitter bar in order to see longer collection
names in dropdowns
- Minor improvements to report
formats and use of bold font
- Usability improved by enhancing
context switch between "Collectibles d/b" and "My
collections" (Instruction panel added)
- Help file updated
- Enhanced values to support new
Coin World values for R and RB designations on copper coins as well as F for
Franklin Half Dollars, H for Standing Liberty Quarters, and D for Morgan
Dollars.
- When choice lists are modified
the results are now instantly updated on return to "My
Collections"
- When new items are added, and
clear field on add specified, no items will be selected (highlighted) after
the add operation.
- When new items are added and
clear field on add is not specified then the newly added item will be
selected (highlighted)
- Storage container has been added
to the list of information fields available for report formats.
- The Button on the login screen
has been redesigned so that its purpose is more obvious.
- When a new user is added, it is
also automatically selected.
- Create Collection button will now
request collection name if not entered rather than generate an error
message.
- Autosizing is improved for higher
video resolutions (1024 by 768 and above)
- New items are added as
"New" unless user has set a different default
- Tab order has been improved on
the Condition and Purchase & Sales Tabs

Top 100 Morgan Varieties Service Pack 1 (for

This service pack provides some
aesthetic improvements for Windows XP compatibility and also some minor
data enhancements. It will only install in the presence of Version 2.0 of
the Top 100 Morgan Varieties.
